If you look at the performance of non-electronics export, that has been fairly weak for quite some time and we think for the first half this year, it is unlikely we are going to see any major improvement coming from the exports front.

Underlying growth will remain supported by infrastructure project spending and we do think consumption demand will remain fairly strong.

But it's likely to be a long-term process and cannot be done immediately, i do think there will be efforts made to avoid any kind of ban.

The rural economy has been dented by the weather, while Bangkok continues to perform well given the large number of tourists, the government's plans to boost the economy, some additional support for rural areas would help in lifting growth.

We expect the current account position to remain comfortably in a surplus. Despite recent capital outflows, we believe Malaysia's external debt position also remains serviceable.
