I don’t know that we’re going to leave until we decide what we’re doing with these bills.

The House will aim to consider the Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and the Build Back Better Act this work period i hope to bring both of those bills to the floor next week, if they're ready.

I intend to bring the Build Back Better Act to the Floor next week, as we move forward into help Americans build back better and stronger from this pandemic.

I'm bringing the bill to the floor on Monday.

Both bills are going to pass.

My expectation is that we will vote on it today, we want to send it over to the Senate, and give the Senate an opportunity to consider it, figure out what they're going to do and they may send it back to us, at which point in time we will have to make a determination, but we want to pass that bill.

We had a discussion and they have concerns, and we're trying to meet those concerns.

The difference is, and this is the key, they both believe in the truth, that ought not to be a partisan issue. Truth ought to be an intellectually honest pursuit, and that's what Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger are going to do.

Now we’re not wearing masks, we’re going to have to decide…whether or not prudence demands that we go back to wearing masks.

First of all, we have a president of the United States who says he wants to sign this bill, secondly, we have a majority leader of the United States Senate who says he wants to see this bill passed. So, we’re not in the same position we were last year.

It is, however, irresponsible to take Chair Waters’ remarks out of context to just hold a ‘gotcha,’ partisan vote, if ‘confrontation’ is subject to sanction, then we’re going to have a lot of people on your side who we believe are confrontational every day.
