Our judicial system may not be perfect. The school called the police because they were required to make a report, they lied. They said this kid was biting, scratching, kicking other kids. It didn't happen.

He continuously went and told his counselor, the principal, anyone that would listen to him, he would talk to them about how he was being bullied.

We hope that the decision will strike a fatal blow to the political exploitation of the death of Laquan McDonald.

From the beginning, we have said this was a tragedy not a first-degree murder, we believed Jason Van Dyke was overcharged for political reasons. We are hoping the new prosecutor will recognize that it was overcharged as well.
