I don't believe that for a second. I would support whatever tools we have available, there's no reason in the world for this information not to be available.

We set out with four goals that we hope to accomplish with the committee, and by and large we accomplished those goals, the committee has had a breakdown in bipartisanship, but I don't think that entirely stopped us from doing the work we need to do.

Today is rare. The Garners. The Blands. The Rice family. They didn't get this type of justice that we got today, so it is a phenomenal day. And hopefully this will be the blueprint of future success for civil rights because it's got to change.

I think the quicker this type of information comes out, the better it is, if the President has information and he could declassify that without endangering national security, I would encourage him to do that.

When you look at the numbers, they were very trace amounts. We don't know if they would show up in a urine test for a job. There is no evidence that it would affect the way he was acting. Also he wasn't pulled for speeding or driving erratically or anything that you are typically pulled for if you are under the influence of drugs, the tests had nothing to do with the shooting.

The family has not taken it that well. They are trying to change the angle of everything. The video shows the actions that the officer took. This is just an example of if you keep the faith, even in the darkest times, you will see the light, we are going to patiently wait for the criminal trial in this case and we are going to patiently wait to see if the city, the police department and the chief are going to take responsibility in the civil suit.
