They're allowed to stay open past five, so my suggestion to this Senate would be when you come back, if all the members aren't here, keep the lights on. Keep the doors open. And don't leave here tonight, until you do the right thing by these folks.

All cowards. All of them, now they say,' Well, this will get done. Maybe after we get back from our summer recess, maybe during the lame duck' — because they're on Senate time. Do you understand you live around here ? Senate time is ridiculous. These mother *** ers live to 200. They're tortoises. They live forever and they never lose their jobs and they never lose their benefits and they never lose all those things. Well, they're not on Senate time. They're on human time. Cancer time.

What just makes the gut punch that much more devastating is that these people all came down here so that they could finally tell the men and -- their constituents are dying. And they're gon na get it done after recess ? You don't -- tell their cancer to take a recess, tell their cancer to stay home and go visit their families.

Senator Toomey is not going to hear that because Senator Toomey won't sit down with this man because he is a f *** ing coward. You hear me ? none of them will hear it. And none of them will care.

Senator Toomey didn't lose Senator Toomey job. Senator Toomey's walking away, god knows what kind of pot of gold he's stepping into to lobby this government to shit on more people. I'm used to all of it, but I'm not used to the cruelty.

So ain't this a bitch ? america's heroes, who fought our wars, outside sweating their asses off, with oxygen battling all kinds of ailments, while these motherf *** ers sit in the air conditioning walled off from any of it ? They don't have to hear it. They don't have to see it. They don't have to understand that these are human beings. Did you get it yet ?

You're tenacity personified and the way you've carried the banner for your family and your loved ones and in their pain, that's the thing, you know. Advocating for causes is a very it's a lovely thing to do but to do that in your grief when you know that it's not going to help your loved one, But that's not what matters to you. It’s that no one goes through what you went through. And that's just the epitome of grace.

The bottom line is our country exposed our own veterans to poison for years, and we knew about it, and we did not act with urgency and appropriateness, and therefore, we've lost men and women who served this country. They've died out of our inaction.

I think I get concerned with who gets to decide what … In the Iraq War, I was on the side of what you would think on the mainstream is misinformation. I was promoting what they would call misinformation, but it turned out to be right years later and the establishment media was wrong. And not only were they wrong, in some respects, you could make the case that they enabled a war that killed hundreds and hundreds of thousands of people and never paid a price for it and never had accountability. And just having an ombudsman print a retraction to me isn't accountability.

TheNew York Times,right, was a giant purveyor of misinformation, and disinformation. I don't know if the Times was purposeful, but misinformation, and that’s as vaunted a media organization as you can find, but there was no accountability for them.

Does anyone know when that started, playing the national anthem before games? It’s such a weird ritual, i’ve always thought about when Kaepernick took the knee and the whole thing was like, ‘You gotta stand for the anthem!’… But, like, why is that?

That’s a different element but I know he’s one of my favorite people on the planet and he’s just a good, decent… – you know, if there is any miscommunication, I’m sure that – I love that dude, like as a person, he’s warm and wise and all those things.

We support our troops, unless they actually need support.
